Three Weddings, One Story: A Long Island Wedding Officiant at Bellport Country Club & The Watermill
As a Long Island wedding officiant, it has had the honor of leading many personalized wedding ceremonies, but some stories stay with you in a deeper way. This is one of them—a story that spans three weddings, three couples, and two beautiful Long Island wedding venues: the Bellport Country Club and The Watermill.
A multiple-tier wedding cake—crafted not of sugar and icing, but of sacred celebrations—each layer rich with meaning, memory, and moment. Three couples. Three ceremonies. One beautifully woven story of connection that continues to unfold across Long Island, New York.
A Wedding at Bellport Country Club
Michael and Kaity’s wedding was profoundly personal—not only for them, but for me as well. As a New York wedding officiant, there are moments when a ceremony feels less like something being led and more like something being stepped into. This was one of those moments.
Though they had only been known a short time, there was an immediate sense of familiarity—a shared spirit, a meaningful connection shaped through mutual friendships that mean so much. It is what makes a personalized wedding ceremony truly special: it reflects not just the couple, but the community surrounding them.
The setting only deepened that experience. A Bellport Country Club weddingcarries a sense of warmth, elegance, and quiet belonging that is hard to describe—but immediately felt.
A Story That Began Years Earlier
This connection didn’t begin here—it reaches back.
Four years ago, there was the absolute honor of officiating Kaity’s sister, Kerry Ann, as she married TJ—General Manager and Maitre D’ at the Bellport Country Club. That day was filled with joy, but it also marked the beginning of relationships that would continue to grow over time.
TJ and Kerry Ann became more than a couple whose wedding was officiated—they became friends. Along with Robert, Michael, Taylor, and so many others, they form a circle of sincere, supportive, and lasting connections that have made this work as a Long Island wedding officiant even more meaningful.
The Bellport Country Club itself has also become something more than a venue. For family, it has long been a cherished gathering place—especially around Easter—bringing loved ones together from across Suffolk County and Long Island. Each visit carries a sense of familiarity, of warmth, of welcome. A place that feels, time and again, like coming home.
Another Celebration at The Watermill
And still, the story continued.
Between these two Bellport Country Club weddings, there was another beautiful chapter. In 2023, there was the joy of officiating the wedding of their mutual friends—now friends—Gabriel and Solange at the The Watermill.
A The Watermill wedding brings its own kind of beauty—elegant, expansive, and filled with celebration. Once again, it was not just a ceremony, but a shared story—another personalized wedding ceremony rooted in connection, trust, and joy.
Three weddings. Three couples. A steady, sacred sequence of celebration and connection across some of the most meaningful Long Island wedding venues.
Why Personalized Wedding Ceremonies Matter
Moments like these are a reminder that being a Long Island wedding officiantis never just about a single day. It is about relationships that ripple outward, circles that expand, and lives that gently, yet powerfully, intertwine over time.
A truly personalized wedding ceremony is not just spoken—it is felt. It reflects the couple’s story, their people, and the deeper connections that brought them to that moment.
And that is always the greatest privilege.
Here’s to Family and Friends
And so, it feels only fitting to close with a phrase that has become a meaningful part of this ceremony repertoire—simple, sincere, and full of heart:
Here’s to family.
Here’s to friends.
Now and forever.
